Shatru Samhara Homam Procedure
Shatru Samhara Homam begins with the purification of the place and the devotee through Sankalpam and Ganapathi Pooja to remove initial obstacles. Kalasha Sthapana is done invoking divine presence, followed by special prayers to Lord Subramanya (Murugan) using his powerful mantras. The homa kundam is prepared with sacred materials, and the priest chants the Shatru Samhara mantras while offering herbs, ghee, and samidhas into the fire. These offerings symbolize the destruction of enemies, negativity, and harmful energies troubling the devotee.
As the fire ritual intensifies, the Shatru Samhara Trishati or Kavacham is recited, culminating in the Poornahuti, the final offering. The energy created by the homam is then transferred to the devotee through theertham and prasadam. Participants may be asked to bring symbolic items representing their problems (like name slips or legal documents), which are blessed and offered into the fire. This ritual energizes the space and the person with divine protection, courage, and peace of mind, ensuring long-term relief from adversities and hidden enemies.
