Description

What is Kadali Vivaha Puja?

Kadali Vivaha Puja is a sacred ritual in which an unmarried girl symbolically marries a banana (kadali) plant, representing Lord Vishnu, to nullify doshas like Manglik, Naga Dosha, or Kalasarpa Dosha. This puja helps remove obstacles and karmic blocks delaying marriage. It is a spiritual solution especially prescribed for girls facing repeated setbacks or broken alliances.

Benefits of Kadali Vivaha Puja.

  • Removes Manglik and Naga Dosha from the girl’s horoscope.
  • Clears obstacles and delays in finding a suitable life partner.
  • Protects from mismatched or troubled marriages in the future.
  • Nullifies past karmic influences and spiritual imbalances.
  • Brings blessings of Lord Vishnu and enhances marital harmony.
  • Ensures smooth, timely, and prosperous marriage after the ritual.

Best Time to Perform Kadali Vivaha Puja

  • Fridays and Shukla Paksha Panchami or Ekadashi are ideal.
  • During Rohini, Uttara Phalguni, or Hasta Nakshatra.
  • Kanya Rasi, Vrishabha Rasi, and Venus Hora are considered beneficial.
  • Can be performed during Navaratri or Vasant Panchami for divine grace.
  • Muhurtham should be selected based on the girl’s horoscope and dosha timing.

Kadali Vivaha Puja Procedure

The ritual begins with Sankalpam, followed by Ganapathi Pooja and Naga Devata Pooja. A healthy banana plant is cleaned, decorated with turmeric, kumkum, and draped in a saree to represent the groom (Lord Vishnu). The girl then performs Kanyadaan, Mangalsutra Dharanam, and Saptapadi as part of the symbolic marriage to the plant. Vedic chants are recited to transfer the negative effects of doshas into the plant.

After the symbolic marriage, the plant is respectfully immersed in water or placed under a peepal tree. Poornahuti is offered in the Homa if part of the puja. The puja concludes with aarti, blessings, and distribution of prasadam. The girl is then considered free from the doshas affecting her marital destiny, enabling a smooth and prosperous marriage to a human partner thereafter.
