Kedareswara Vratham also known as Kedara Gowri Nomu and it is all about Lord Shiva Pooja in the form of Kedareswara. By performing this pooja, Mata Parvati(Gowri) obtained half body of Shiva also known as Ardha Nareeswara. Kedareswara Vratham mainly observed in the day of Diwali festival or any Monday of Karthik Month.
On Kedareswara Vratham day devotee should have holy bath early in the morning, and the house should be clean and decorated with flowers. The pooja mandap should be arranged with flowers, garlands. First the prayer begins with lord Ganesh, next followed by Kedareswara panchamrit abhishekam will be done along with the 108 names of Lord Kedareswara .
