1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Saravana Vedic Services Private Limited (operating as Poojalu.com). By accessing, browsing, or using this website (https://poojalu.com or its related domain names), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy.

The terms “Saravana Vedic Services Private Limited”, “Pandit Poojalu Services”, “Poojalu.com”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to the owner of the website, registered in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The term “you” or “User” refers to the visitor, customer, or viewer of our website.

IMPORTANT: All pujas, havans, and other rituals offered through our website are performed in a sathvik manner as per shastras. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you are strictly prohibited from accessing the site or availing of any services offered herein.

2. General Scope of Services & Disclaimers

  • A. Ritual Services
    • Rituals (such as Pooja, Havan/Homam, Japam, Vratam, Nomu, Parayana, Gruhapravesam, Shanti, Abhishekam, etc.) are performed at your requested location by priests appointed by Poojalu.com, subject to fee payments.
    • Fee Structure: Charges mentioned on the website may include priest dakshina, pooja samagri (materials), taxes, handling, and administrative fees.
    • No Donations: We do NOT accept donations, chanda, or chadhawa. If anyone represents themselves as our agent collecting donations, please report it immediately to info@poojalu.com.
    • Temple Visits: By placing an order, you grant us explicit permission to visit temples on your behalf to perform pujas or make requested offerings.
  • B. Brahmin Cook / Catering / Food Services (Third-Party Disclaimer)
    • Intermediary Role Only: For Brahmin cook bookings, catering, and kitchen assistance, Poojalu.com acts strictly as an intermediary/mediator platform connecting customers with independent third-party service providers. All food preparation, cooking, delivery, and serving duties are handled entirely by independent third parties. Payments collected by us cover platform facilitation and communication costs only.
    • Exclusion of Liability (Damage, Theft & Misconduct): Poojalu.com and Saravana Vedic Services Private Limited assume no legal liability or responsibility for any property damage (including gas stoves, kitchen appliances, utensils, electrical fixtures, or home property), theft, loss, personal injury, behavioral misconduct, or verbal disputes caused by third-party cooks or catering personnel at the customer’s location.
    • No Compensation Policy: We do not provide financial compensation, reimbursements, or insurance coverage for any personal or property damage, loss, or inconvenience caused by assigned third-party service providers under any circumstances.
    • Direct Resolution: Any property damage, theft, or conduct issues must be settled directly between the customer and the individual third-party provider involved.

3. Account Registration & WhatsApp Authentication

To facilitate seamless bookings, account access, and service communication, we offer authentication via WhatsApp.

  1. Account Creation & Verification:
    • Number Ownership: You confirm that you are the authorized owner of the mobile number provided.
    • One-Time Password (OTP): Verification requires entering a 6-digit OTP sent to your WhatsApp account. OTPs are confidential and time-sensitive; never share your OTP with anyone.
    • Automated Account Creation: If no account exists for your phone number, an account is automatically created under the “Customer” role to store your booking details and invoice history.
    • Profile Linking: Existing order history linked to your mobile number will automatically sync upon verification.
  2. Consent for WhatsApp Notifications: By clicking “Get WhatsApp OTP” or using our WhatsApp login services, you grant explicit opt-in consent to receive:
    • Security alerts, login codes, and transactional updates.
    • Priest schedule notifications, booking status, receipts, and customer support responses.
  3. Third-Party Infrastructure & Delivery:
    • Messaging is facilitated via authorized Business Solution Providers (e.g., Meta / Interakt). Your details are transmitted securely for message routing and are never sold to third parties.
    • Delivery depends on telecom network stability. We are not liable for delays caused by carrier downtime. You may request a resend after a 60-second window.
  4. Opt-Out: You may opt out of non-essential communications by replying “STOP” or emailing support@poojalu.com. Opting out completely may impact real-time booking updates.

4. Offers, Discount Coupons & Cashback Terms

  • Applicability: Offers and coupons are valid exclusively on Poojalu.com and panditforpooja.com.
  • Limits: Unless specified otherwise, offers are limited to 1 time per user. Discounts/cashbacks carry a minimum value of ₹100 and a maximum value of ₹1,200.
  • Order Type Restrictions:
    • Coupons apply only to full order payments made through our online payment gateway.
    • Offers do not apply to advance or partial payments.
    • Partial order cancellation is not permitted on orders with applied coupon codes.
  • UPI Transactions: Full invoice settlement must occur via UPI (9912340246@hdfc). The minimum Pandit Dakshina amount eligible for UPI offers is ₹1,500.
  • Cancellations & Refunds: In the event of order cancellation, any credited cashback will be deducted from the total refundable amount. Convenience and payment gateway fees are non-refundable. Read Complete Cancellations & Refunds terms
  • Review Bonuses: Google Review cash bonuses (up to ₹500) are issued via email promo codes after review verification. They are valid on future Puja/Homam bookings only and cannot be redeemed for Astrology or Muhurtham services.

5. Processing & Facilitation Fees

All online transactions are subject to a Processing / Facilitation Fee (typically 1% to 3%), which includes payment gateway charges and administrative handling costs. This fee is mandatory for all transactions, including Brahmin catering and pooja bookings, and is non-refundable upon cancellation.

6. Disclaimers & Product Liabilities

  • A. Online Products & Yantras
    • Dimensions, weights, colors, and images shown online are approximate references. Slight variations may occur.
    • Custom orders require a 50% non-refundable advance.
    • Yantras: Made of standard copper material; natural discoloration or color change over time is expected and does not constitute a defect.
  • B. Group vs. Individual Sankalpam
    • Prices listed for Homams/Pujas are based on Group Sankalpam unless explicitly stated otherwise. For Individual Sankalpam pricing, please email info@poojalu.com prior to booking.
  • C. Astrology & Vastu Consultations
    • Astrological predictions and consultation notes are intended for spiritual guidance only. They must not replace advice from licensed medical, legal, or financial professionals. Poojalu.com does not diagnose, treat, or claim to cure any medical or physical conditions.
  • D. Outcome Disclaimer
    • The benefits of Homams, Pujas, and Yantras stated on this website are derived from traditional Vedic scriptures (Shastras) for educational purposes. Spiritual outcomes vary by individual; Poojalu.com makes no guarantee regarding specific outcomes or results.

7. Shipping, Delivery & Customs

  • Packaging: All physical items (Samagri, Yantras, Puja products) are safely packed and dispatched via Indian Post, DHL, FedEx, or BlueDart.
  • Scope of Liability: Our delivery responsibility ends once the package is handed over to the courier partner and a tracking ID is provided.
  • Customs & Import Duties: International buyers are solely responsible for any local import duties, taxes, excise charges, or clearance fees required by their destination country.

8. Intellectual Property & Copyright

  • Licensing: Content, tips, procedures, and samagri lists created by Pandit Poojalu Services are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
  • Design & Layout: Website design, graphics, and layout are owned by or licensed to us. Unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.
  • Third-Party Content: Certain text or images have been compiled from reference literature and public sources. If you believe any material infringes on your copyright, contact ask@poojalu.com for prompt review and resolution.

9. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poojalu.com and its directors, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from:

  1. The use or inability to use our services or website.
  2. Unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
  3. Service disruptions caused by third-party payment gateways, messaging networks, or delivery carriers.
  4. Actions, negligence, property damage, or disputes involving third-party cooks, caterers, or service providers.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Saravana Vedic Services Private Limited from any claims, losses, or legal fees arising from your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to your use of the website or services shall first be submitted to mandatory binding arbitration in Hyderabad, Telangana, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of India. If litigation becomes necessary, the state and federal courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, shall hold exclusive jurisdiction.
