The devotees who perform the Thread Ceremony for his child, wake up early in the morning and clean the house and take the bath before “Suryodayam”. Decorate the house with flowers, mango leaves, and arrange all pooja materials coconut, betel leaves, betel nuts, sweets, and other required items. In olden days Brahmins, Kshatriya’s, Vishay’s would wear the sacred thread it indicates their household status. Udaka Shanti, Rakshogana Suktams, Rashtrabhrtam, Ashirvad, Prokshana Mantras are chanted. The ancestral blessings to the boy will given by Asrumukha Pitru, Naandi Mukha Pitru.
